This tool builds a starting-point draft of an internal AI policy from your answers, to help you put something sensible in place quickly. A few things to be clear about:
• It is not legal advice, and using it does not create a solicitor–client relationship with Steven Mather or anyone else.
• The draft is generic by design and may not fit your firm's circumstances. A qualified person should review and adapt it before you adopt it.
• Your answers are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to us or stored anywhere — close the tab and it's gone.
Answer a handful of questions and this assembles a tailored internal AI policy for your firm — covering the SRA Code, the Ayinde verification duty, client confidentiality and supervision. The tool was built by a practising solicitor; the policy it produces is a starting-point draft for you to review and adapt — not advice, and not reviewed by anyone.
A policy is the easy bit. Getting everyone actually using AI to one standard — with the verification built in — is what The Lawyer's Prompt firm licence is for. Leave your email and I'll send the firm-licence details. Optional, and only used for that.
